About this deal

Ive sat and thought about how to reply to this without sounding like I want to advertise a product (the one that i sell) but as no-one knows what brand I sell I shall say it anyway without mentioning any manufacturer. The other similar products in the market generally need a refill after every 3,000 miles. However, the usage frequency for stp ultra 5 in 1 is 4,000 miles. One bottle is good for up to 35 gallons, so I was able to add half the bottle to my car (12 gallon tank) and half to my wife’s (13 gallon tank) and keep us both good. It’s recommended to top off a tank that is at least half full, so I just added the cleaner after filling up the tank. The new bottle is also compatible with cap-less systems, which my wife’s Ford Focus happens to be.

Because, unlike PIB, PIBA has the ability to remove existing deposits. However, it does not have the durability to survive in the combustion chamber. No worries cause that’s where PEA comes into action.

STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner Diesel 400ml

One of the unique features of stp ultra 5 in 1 is its versatility. It can work in any modern gasoline engine such as turbo, direct-inject, hybrid vehicles, etc. Yes! If you want to improve the performance of your car or even your lawnmower, this one product is all you need.

Diesel fuels may form waxes or be contaminated with water that can plug the fuel filter. These conditions may result in poor starting, rough idling, poor combustion, hesitation or power loss under acceleration, stalling, loss of fuel economy and increased emissions.

A. Our advice would be to use a fuel injector cleaner on every tankful. If you strictly use premium fuel at every fill-up, you can probably reduce this to every second or third tankful. Standard fuel has a much lower cetane than that of it’s premium counterpart and has been known to create oily deposits within the fuel system so we would definitely advise using a fuel injector cleaner at every fill-up if you often use standard fuel. Unfortunately, start-stop engine technology is more susceptible to deposit build-up - once these have built up in the fuel intake system, you’re more likely to experience power loss, driveability issues and exhaust emissions. The first cleaning agent that stp ultra 5 in 1 contains PIBA. Although most fuel cleaners use PIB as one of their key ingredients, I believe PIBA is a better choice. Here, the gum will then end up clogging the engine. And, the stray moisture creates buildup and corrosion. That isn’t a pleasant thing for your engine, is it?

Compression test after was 100psi, 105psi, 105 psi, 100 psi. And the idle was drastically improved. The treatment and clearly cleaned the valves and the crowns of the piston(s) levelling out the compressions to somewhere more reasonable. The owner of the car returned to the garage the following day commenting how it was like a different car to drive.

Redex specialise solely in producing fuel system treatments and have years of experience throughout that process. Their products are extremely affordable and have been proven to have an excellent impact on engine performance and efficiency. As well as this bespoke diesel version, there’s also a specific petrol version available too. This product is specifically designed to restore performance and reduce emissions and Redex claim it’s effective after just one tank treatment. Due to it’s excellent price point, our advice would be to use this on every single tank fill up, particularly if you aren’t buying premium diesel or petrol. However, if your fuel system is diesel-based, I would suggest you rather use a diesel system cleaner. Because in the stp ultra 5 in 1 diesel review, I have noticed some additional benefits that stp ultra 5 in 1 doesn’t offer. Such as cetane improvers and stp wear guard. Usage Frequency: I suggested a compression test. Results were, cylinder 1 was 80 psi, 2 was 120psi, 3 was 60 psi, 4 was 105 psi. The car had around a 1/4 tank of fuel. We added an injector cleaner and a fuel treatment to the tank. The injector cleaner does only what it says and then burns off, the fuel treatment starts at the tank, cleans the injector and inlet valve, turns to gas and cleans the combustion chamber exhaust valve EGR and Lambda of contaminants and carbon build up. The garage then road tested the car for 15 mins keeping the revs up.
